Option 1 :: Annual Maintenance Service - $75 / annum / property - GST inclusive:
  • One flat fee for Annual Smoke Alarm Maintenance - regardless of the type or number of smoke alarms in that property.
  • Inspect, Test, Maintain & Install Smoke Alarms.
  • Copies of Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificates.
  • All relevant forms for landlords & real estate property managers.
  • A detailed inspection and compliance report for all smoke alarms in each property.
  • Prepare and issue entry notices to each tenant prior to inspection of the property.
  • Assess compliance in accordance with Australian Standard, Section 3 AS 1851.15 for smoke alarm installation.
  • All smoke alarms are checked for secure fitting, fitted with new batteries (except smoke alarms with non-removable batteries), cleaned, checked for operation using the test button, checked for operation using a smoke test, and tested for adequate decibel output.
  • Relocate smoke alarms to correct positions if necessary and install smoke alarms to ensure compliance if required and authorised.
  • Replace and install new smoke alarms at a reasonable cost upon the agreement of the property owner in compliance with all Australian Standards.
  • Completed confidentiality agreements for each Lessor / Real Estate Agent to deal with client / tenant personal information.
Option 2 :: Once-Off Service - $55 / property - GST inclusive:
  • All services provided as per Option 1, on a once-off basis - (Ideal when selling a property)
